Positive Affirmations for Self-Esteem…

I work with many individuals who feel that self-esteem is a source of difficulty for them.

So many of us in this world want to feel more comfortable with ourselves.  The key is to desire to be healthy and have a positive view of yourself. Affirmations are a great way to gently move you in the direction of being okay with yourself and ready to get on with living.

It can be helpful to use the following self-esteem focused affirmations to remind yourself that you are a special person, who deserves respect and love.

What You Are:

  • I am lovable and capable.
  • I appreciate being me.
  • I am open to finding solutions to my problems.
  • I fully accept and believe in myself just the way that I am.
  • I am a unique and special person.
  • I accept all of the different parts of myself.
  • My feelings and needs are indeed important.
  • I have many good qualities.
  • I trust in my ability to reach my goals.
  • I deserve the respect of those around me.
  • I’m open and looking forward to what lies ahead. I like new challenges.
  • I believe in my ability to succeed.
  • I don’t have to be 100% perfect to be deserving of love.
  • The more I love myself, the more I am able to extend that love to others.
  • Others recognize that I have a great deal to offer.
  • It’s good for me to take time for myself.
