When Love Meets Fear by David Richo: An in-depth look at the ways we  hide ourselves in intimate relationships with steps and affirmations on how to make meaningful changes.
When the Past is Present by David Richo: This book helps make connections between our earlier experiences and how they can impact our present relationships
Calming Your Anxious Mind by Jeffrey Brantley, MD: A mindfulness based approach to coping with anxiety and making peace with your demons.
Your Body Believes Every Word You Say by Barbara Hoberman Levine: A look at the connection between mind and body, psychology and illness and the power of our words and intentions to heal us.
When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron: A gentle approach to looking deeper into ourselves and learning how to stay with difficult sensations and experiences.
The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund J. Bourne, Phd: A great resource of coping skills for dealing with all kinds of anxiety.
Brain Lock by Jeffrey Schwartz: Helpful for dealing with addictions, impulsive behaviors and obsessive compulsive disorder. Based upon the notion of neuroplasticity, which posits that we can over time effect change in our brains neural pathways through intention and diligent practice.
Trauma and Recovery by Judith Herman: Essential reading for anyone struggling with trauma and its aftermath.
